Raiders Carl Nassib becomes the first active NFL player to come out as gay

After undergoing what he describes as an agonizing 15-year wait, defensive end became the first active player in NFL history to come out as gay. The former Penn State standout spent his first two seasons with the before signing with the , where he recorded 12.5 sacks and 20 tackles for lo s over a two-year span.
